On Thursday, July 30th, the K12Online had a brainstorm for the online conference with Jose Rodriquez, Wesley Fryer, Elizabeth Helfant, Jeff Lebow, Matt Montagne, Lisa Parisi, Cheryl Oakes, & Maria Knee.The K12Online2009 Conference takes place in December. Proposals are accepted through August 16! More information is available at http://k12onlineconference.org/

Also around EdTechSomething time the following week was a meeting of the Webcastacademy's Class of 4.1. The Webcastacademy is where future webcasters are born, study, and graduate. The meeting included many members in the current class as well as some experienced webcasters. More about Webcastacademy at http://webcastacademy.net/

The Spanish language webcasting classes have been active as well. Called "Puentesalmundo", they have regular meetings in Spanish. More information is available at http://puentesalmundo.net/
