 PeggyG ->   Hi Wes-great to see you. I've spent a good part of today listening to your last podcasts to get caught up with you :-)

 cheryloakes50~seedlings ->   Hello Kdumont, LUcy, Peggy, Yeah!!! Wes, witeacher, tkaminiski

 Wes Fryer ->   I've got you all plugged into our living room stereo again. Rachel just said, "Oh, a podcast" (because she recognizes your voices from our car trips) and I told her "No, it's a WEBCAST!"

 PeggyG ->   Hi Cheryl!

 tkaminski ->   Horizon's report is pretty powerful

 cheryloakes50~seedlings ->   hi jan_smith    Hi Ben M, welcome!!

 Wes Fryer ->   @peggyg well, there has been a bit to catch up on, that's for sure!

 jan_smith ->   Hi Cheryl, glad to make it in the door!

 cheryloakes50~seedlings ->   Oh, I will give her a shout out.

 cheryloakes50~seedlings ->   Hi Rachel.

 jackiegerstein ->   Hey Peggy

 PeggyG ->   Hi Jackie!

 jackiegerstein ->   Hi Cheryl

 bobsprankle ->   hi all!

 Wes Fryer ->   rachel says hi!

 PeggyG ->   Hi to Rachel!! :-) Brilliant child!!!

 bobsprankle ->   hi rachel!

 tkaminski ->   Horizon's report gives us lots of ammunition when we advocate for different technologies

 jackiegerstein ->   Set up a new stream just for the kids - they can meet in the other "room"

 bobsprankle ->   hey margaret!!

 Wes Fryer ->   Trivia question: There are 2 technologies that are DIFFERENT in the K-12 Horizon Report, compared to the "regular" Horizon report. What are they?

 bobsprankle ->   hi james

 cheryloakes50~seedlings ->   http://www.infinitethinking.org/2009/03/horizonk12-2009.html  Here is Lucy's website.

 cheryloakes50~seedlings ->   OH, Wes, good question peopleare scrambling to find their other report.

 Wes Fryer ->   I actually don't know the answer but want to. I heard Alan Levine and others give the preso at COSN.

 alicebarr (seedling) ->   Oh Yikes Wes...

 cheryloakes50~seedlings ->   welcome tonithesisen

 Wes Fryer ->   http://elemenous.typepad.com/ here is Lucy's homepage

 cheryloakes50~seedlings ->   thanks Wes, for LUcy's

 cheryloakes50~seedlings ->   Hello dmdanker, welcome, hello to Janene

 Janene ->   Hi all

 Margaret ->   I finally figure  out how to write a message. Thank you for the welcome.

 cheryloakes50~seedlings ->   Hello Shelia, the horizon report K-12 is here.http://www.infinitethinking.org/2009/03/horizonk12-2009.html

 sheila ->   Thanks and hi!

 jackiegerstein ->   Semantic web and Geo Everyting

 cheryloakes50~seedlings ->   Yeah Margaret, now there is no stopping you!

 Margaret ->   This is a bit different from other chat rooms I have been in, hence the slowness of my reponse.

 jackiegerstein ->   http://wp.nmc.org/horizon-k12-2009/

 Wes Fryer ->   http://www.nmc.org/pdf/2009-Horizon-Report-K12.pdfhttp://www.nmc.org/pdf...

 cheryloakes50~seedlings ->   Yes, Wes!!

 Wes Fryer ->   oops i got that link twice

 alicebarr (seedling) ->   Thanks Wes

 Wes Fryer ->   hi dawn! :-)

 cheryloakes50~seedlings ->   Hello James, sometimes when I click a link I get bumped out, welcome back.

 James_01 ->   Thanks, I clicked the Windows Media Player stream and that loaded over top of this page.

 LucyGray ->   http://horizon.nmc.org/k12/Main_Page

 cheryloakes50~seedlings ->   Hi Kim Caise, and Omni

 Omni ->   Howdy

 PeggyG ->   I got bumped too--and wasn't clicking on any links. Luckily the audio kept going in itunes :-)

 Wes Fryer ->   these are the delicious tags for the 2009 horizon report - http://delicious.com/tag/hzk09

 cheryloakes50~seedlings ->   Peggy, gremlins are active.

 jan_smith ->   http://horizon.nmc.org/k12/Main_Page

 bobsprankle ->   thanks, wes!

 PeggyG ->   http://wp.nmc.org/horizon-k12-2009/ Report can be downloaded here

 Wes Fryer ->   it's amazing the horizon report folks track 100-200 technologies and reduce them to 12 and then 6. what a task!

 Wes Fryer ->   hey, some Texans believe in salt!

 PeggyG ->   it really is incredible and such a valuable resource for tech advocacy!

 cheryloakes50~seedlings ->   Wes, that is a major skill for 21st century learners, synthesize and summarize.

 Wes Fryer ->   goodness, Lucy, that is a scary tale :-(

 Wes Fryer ->   @cheryloakes50 indeed!

 cheryloakes50~seedlings ->   The list is on the back of the Horizon Report, with all the participants.

 PeggyG ->   what an amazing story Lucy!! once again the power of social networking and PLNs!

 tkaminski ->   Lucy, amazing use of Facebook

 cheryloakes50~seedlings ->   Terry, my son facebooked me after an earthquake in Costa Rica that he was oky, I was glad for that.

 jan_smith ->   is it like grafitti while you speak?

 Wes Fryer ->   I just participated in my first meeting with a graphic facilitator yesterday! It was very cool. (and effective)

 cheryloakes50~seedlings ->   Oh, this sounds like a new skill!

 bobsprankle ->   wow... what a coincidence, wes!

 tkaminski ->   @cheryloakes Why did your son chose Facebook instead of twitter?

 Wes Fryer ->   http://www.flickr.com/photos/wfryer/3385411197/in/set-72157615902500318/ that's a flickr pic of one of the graphic facilitator's murals from yesterday

 cheryloakes50~seedlings ->   He didn't have a phone that worked in Costa Rica, he doesn't use twitter yet he does use facebook.

 bobsprankle ->   v. cool, wes

 jan_smith ->   It was done at NorthernVoice, a major blogging conference in Vancouver to the Keynote

 jackiegerstein ->   http://www.chart-magic.com/index.html

 tkaminski ->   @cheryloakes Interesting.  I use twitter on my computer far more than Facebook

 Wes Fryer ->   society of graphic facilitators - awesome

 cheryloakes50~seedlings ->   tkaminski, I facebook my college kids.

 jackiegerstein ->   I've seen it done for keynotes - it is amazing - it is like getting visuals for those of us who auditory processing challenged

 Omni ->   I miss the days of using subetha edit at confrence for collective notes

 tkaminski ->   @Wes Your graphic facilitator looks like they were awesome!!!  Could they use a tech tool to do the same thing?  Then it could be sent to everyone ASAP

 cheryloakes50~seedlings ->   @jackiegerstein, what a great tool for classrooms.

 Wes Fryer ->   so how much discussion did you have during and before your voting time, Lucy?

 Wes Fryer ->   @Omni I loved SubEthaEdit, but didn't like that it wasn't cross-platform.

 PeggyG ->   were there any surprizes for you Lucy?

 jackiegerstein ->   Didn't you use the World Cafe, too? http://www.theworldcafe.com/

 Wes Fryer ->   our graphic facilitator yesterday claimed there are only about 15 people in the US who know how and can do graphic facilitation

 cheryloakes50~seedlings ->   hello leahlubelle, welcome

 PeggyG ->   could you do a similar kind of brainstorming chart on http://www.bubbl.us?

 sheila ->   We did something like that yesterday in class talking about acid rain in class. Used the SmartBoard to print it out.

 Wes Fryer ->   ooo - thanks for the link to bubbl.us @peggyg!

 cheryloakes50~seedlings ->   Wes, what a great job for some kids and adults.

 tkaminski ->   @shiela our smartboard use is a good one.

 PeggyG ->   bubbl.us is an amazing collaborative brainstorming tool

 Wes Fryer ->   graphic facilitating not only requires great visual communication / arts skills, but also great sythesis and evaluation...

 James_01 ->   I think I've listened for 10 or 15 minutes and I still don't have any idea what this is about

 PeggyG ->   discussing the Horizon Report for K-12

 cheryloakes50~seedlings ->   James, this is a show explaining how the K-12 horizon report came to be. YOu can see the report here http://www.infinitethinking.org/2009/03/horizonk12-2009.html

 alicebarr (seedling) ->   http://horizon.nmc.org/k12/Main_Page

 James_01 ->   ... Thanks.

 jan_smith ->   When I look at the list of trends, I think my district is back in at least 5 years. Where to start?

 cheryloakes50~seedlings ->   Hello Melinda, welcome

 PeggyG ->   did you use Wordle to help you identify the trends?? :-)

 Wes Fryer ->   @James_01 Lucy Gray is giving background, she was on the advisory board for the K-12 Horizon Report this year

 Wes Fryer ->   lost the stream...

 Omni ->   same here

 jan_smith ->   sound gone

 sheila ->   Think we were just muted?

 leahlubelle ->   I think that happens when the phone rings

 Wes Fryer ->   the gremlins must have just struck

 tkaminski ->   @jay_smith  I am at the same place you are

 Wes Fryer ->   they'll be back...

 PeggyG ->   Did Alice get a phone call? think that affects her streaming

 sheila ->   Oh right Peggy!

 bobsprankle ->   yes... is the audio ok?

 cheryloakes50~seedlings ->   Oh, Alice had a phone call, we have the audio for the podcast, sorry.

 cheryloakes50~seedlings ->   Is the audio back.

 PeggyG ->   hope Lucy waits for the stream to come back :-) don't want to miss anything

 Wes Fryer ->   phone call interruptions remind me of dial up modem connections... remember when you had to put a special character string on your modem connection script so it would disable call waiting?! Ah, the old days...

 leahlubelle ->   I do not hear anything

 jan_smith ->   Well, I am getting nice blues from my i

 jan_smith ->   Tunes...

 jackiegerstein ->   Can you send them this way Jan?

 cheryloakes50~seedlings ->   Okay, we will restart

 jan_smith ->   I can hum a few bars...

 tkaminski ->   Have time to check NCAA scores

 Wes Fryer ->   our meat loaf just finished, anyone want some.... :-)

 PeggyG ->   that's funny Jan! that happened to me once and I didn't realize the stream had dropped and moved on to my next song in itunes! It was Christmas music :-)

 LucyGray ->   Let me see if there are any questions I can answer via text

 jan_smith ->   Robert Johnson, Kind Hearted Woman Blues

 Wes Fryer ->   Lucy what was the most surprising thing you learned or encountered (besides your ice story) in serving on the Horizon Board?

 tkaminski ->   Lucy, was there much arguing about what technologies to put in each category?

 jan_smith ->   @Lucy, many of the trends seem light years away from my vantage point--any thoughts on affecting change?

 cheryloakes50~seedlings ->   Okay, gang, we will restart

 alicebarr (seedling) ->   Folks let me restart and e'll be right back

 bobsprankle ->   hang on folks...alice will restart the stream

 baldfury ->   :? :? :?

 LucyGray ->   Great questions

 LucyGray ->   Hmmm..

 LucyGray ->   There's a way for you all to participate...

 LucyGray ->   let me get the link

 cheryloakes50~seedlings ->   Lucy, this is a great question from Wes, what did you lear serving on the Horizon board?

 jackiegerstein ->   We can all meet in Seocnd life :D

 bobsprankle ->   woot!

 cheryloakes50~seedlings ->   Oh, good plan Jackie!

 jan_smith ->   I can run into walls and you can all have a good laugh at my hair

 sheila ->   Speaking of Woot - It's awoot-off today!

 tkaminski ->   I have not played in Second Life yet

 LucyGray ->   http://www.nmc.org/horizon/participate

 PeggyG ->   what's a woot-off?

 cheryloakes50~seedlings ->   @jan_smith, you can laugh when I sit on the table instead of the chair

 cheryloakes50~seedlings ->   hello karen Jan

 LucyGray ->   Hi Karen Jan!

 KarenJan ->   Hi, Cheryl

 sheila ->   Refresh if you haven't already . . .  sounds back.

 KarenJan ->   Hi, Lucy!!!!

 Wes Fryer ->   yeah, you're back!

 cheryloakes50~seedlings ->    Welcome gary we have no audio just yet, we are restartnig the stream.

 PeggyG ->   yeah!!

 gary ->   Thanks

 James_01 ->   At least I had time to read the full NMC report

 jackiegerstein ->   http://www.vwbpe.org/  Great SL confernece this weekend!

 PeggyG ->   oh rats! phone rang again!

 sheila ->   @PeggyG - sells electronic type things many during the day.

 Wes Fryer ->   yes, i'm hearing you again via iTunes and did not have to restart my stream

 cheryloakes50~seedlings ->   VEry funny James, I am glad you put the time to good use.

 jackiegerstein ->   LOL James

 James_01 ->   Oh... it wasn't a joke, I hadn't read it yet

 jan_smith ->   @cheryl I sat on somebodies lap at the Edublogs Awards.  :p *)

 cheryloakes50~seedlings ->   organized meetings are a treat

 cheryloakes50~seedlings ->   lol

 kcaise ->   i think lucy got dropped

 cheryloakes50~seedlings ->   Oh, are you hearing Lucy in about 10 seconds? she is talking now

 Wes Fryer ->   i'm still hearing Lucy

 bobsprankle ->   sound ok?

 sheila ->   @jan_smith I can totally relate to sl life.

 PeggyG ->   yes hearing all

 sheila ->   yes

 kcaise ->   she didn't, i was wrong

 cheryloakes50~seedlings ->   thanks for the sound check

 Wes Fryer ->   modified delphi process - excellent, hadn't heard of this

 kcaise ->   i heard the skype sound when a call is dropped

 James_01 ->   None of the report's content is surprising and none of it adds much to the debate

 cheryloakes50~seedlings ->   hello Lorna!

 jan_smith ->   @sheila, there is something very 21 century about being both physically and virtually emabarassed.

 PeggyG ->   It sounds like a very efficient way to do that!

 lorna ->   Hi Cherly  and all

 cheryloakes50~seedlings ->    I actually gave it to all my admin and we highlighted it at a workshop today.

 sheila ->   lol

 Wes Fryer ->   Rachel says "I think your dog is barking!"

 James_01 ->   I'm sorry, Cheryl, but that isn't proof of the report's value

 cheryloakes50~seedlings ->   Rachel, the dogs come in every show!

 alicebarr (seedling) ->   Tell RAchel that is Lilly

 PeggyG ->   that's the big question--how can we take this information and leverage it! so glad you mentioned this!

 KarenJan ->   sounds like a very large dog!

 Wes Fryer ->   yes, we all need to step up our advocacy and lobbying efforts

 kcaise ->   i am so glad my dog isn't the only one that wants to talk on streaming shows

 cheryloakes50~seedlings ->   James, this report for some of us gives the road map and validates what we are doing when someone questions cloud computing

 jackiegerstein ->   Kinda like preaching to the choir - eh?

 PeggyG ->   I think Lilly agrees with Lucy!

 Wes Fryer ->   yes that is right bob

 sheila ->   Just typing this in an email for my principal!

 tkaminski ->   @jackiegerstien I totally agree

 James_01 ->   It does validate what many of you are doing

 KarenJan ->   our school has Will Richardson coming to speak in two weeks.  I recommended that we invite parents and students

 Wes Fryer ->   @james_01 it validates many of the trends we hear about, in terms of others seeing them as very relevant / important...

 James_01 ->   Fortunately or unfortunately depending on perspective

 PeggyG ->   I like the emphasis on value of real life experiences-many teachers think that means it has to be face to face but can be greatly enriched with technology

 cheryloakes50~seedlings ->   oh, great Karen!

 alicebarr (seedling) ->   @KarenJan Great idea

 KarenJan ->   we'll see what happens, i'm on the school board and suggested it at our meeting Monday night

 tkaminski ->   @KarenJan  Definitely invite parents.  When parents start demanding things change seems to happen faster

 jan_smith ->   @james what's your perspective?

 KarenJan ->   we talk about the need to include parents in understanding the paradigm shift

 lorna ->   @KarenJan - where are you located?

 Wes Fryer ->   yes, Google is blocked in some Oklahoma and Texas schools I've been in today. Amazing.

 jan_smith ->   @KarenJan We still need to include many teachers in the paradigm shift--

 PeggyG ->   Will CoSN be doing a live webinar on the K12 report? It would be great to have an archived version to share with admins, teachers and boards!

 cheryloakes50~seedlings ->   Google blocked seems foreign

 jan_smith ->   Many have hands on ears and eyes closed.

 Wes Fryer ->   I see 5 primary reasons why schools and school leaders are blocking web 2.0 sites: bandwidth, CIPA, FERPA, control issues, liability concerns. Are there other broad reasons I'm missing?

 KarenJan ->   @jan - I have to say, there's been some amazing things happening in my district

 James_01 ->   Jan, it would be impolite to hijack this party, so maybe some other time

 PeggyG ->   Karen Henke did a great CoSN webinar a couple of months ago but it was before this report came out

 tkaminski ->   @Wes Google is blocked!!!!Why?

 leeanne ->   I wonder if the identification of filtering as a critical challenge will mean changes start taking place?

 jan_smith ->   @Wes laziness.

 PeggyG ->   @Wes FEAR!

 James_01 ->   Wes, don't forget the possibility that there might be more effective ways to educate

 Wes Fryer ->   @tkaminski LIke Lucy is saying, some districts block google to try and keep out the bad stuff

 James_01 ->   Or at least that the administrators think there are more effective ways

 Wes Fryer ->   @PeggyG yes, fear definitely IS a big reason that needs to be on that list

 jan_smith ->   @james, this is a venue for dialogue, no?

 tkaminski ->   @Wes We need to educate the students on appropriate use.

 Wes Fryer ->   @James_01 do you mean other, non-digital ways to educate?

 Wes Fryer ->   @tkaminski yes, I totally agree

 James_01 ->   Wes, I mean online and offline, yes

 PeggyG ->   https://admin.acrobat.com/_a839225796/p36201637/ Karen's earlier presentation on Long Tail Learner: How Technology Transforms Learning

 Wes Fryer ->   @James_01 good point. That is why I think a focus on blended learning is most appropriate, rather than just being on a "digital learning" bandwagon. There are lots of great analog ways to learn too.

 Wes Fryer ->   I love that, "Long Tail Learner"

 James_01 ->   Jan, it is in theory. Not in practice. Right now we have a leader telling us that the main reason a certain technology isn't adopted is because the opponents are clearly ignorant and afraid

 PeggyG ->   Yes Wes. It was an outstanding presentation!

 alicebarr (seedling) ->   Tag hzk09

 Wes Fryer ->   @James_01 who is the leader you're referring to?

 James_01 ->   You, Wes - I was summarizing what you just said

 Wes Fryer ->   ah

 cheryloakes50~seedlings ->   Hello Jeff

 James_01 ->   You're talking about how deathly afraid school administrators are as if it isn't even possible that there is a legitimate argument that there is a better use of time or resources

 cheryloakes50~seedlings ->   Hello james sigler!

 James Sigler ->   Hi everybody

 WickedDecentJeff ->   Hey Cheryl, can't stay long but I'm here for a few

 cheryloakes50~seedlings ->   glad you are here

 Wes Fryer ->   I think there is more than ignorance and fear at play. I agree with Virginia Postrel's thesis in her 1989 book, "The Future and Its Enemies." Generally we see "statists" and "dynamists" when it comes to change. Many people in our communities are conservative statists that resist many changes because they don't want their cheese moved.

 James Sigler ->   Been listening to stream and finally got chat to work  :)

 James_01 ->   I didn't realize I was at a business or motivational seminar

 alicebarr (seedling) ->   Hey WickedDecent!

 PeggyG ->   @James-you are correct that technology isn't the best way for everything but it provides some important options

 James_01 ->   I could have stayed at home and read Executive Book Summaries

 WickedDecentJeff ->   Hey Alice!

 Wes Fryer ->   @James_01 ?

 jan_smith ->   Trolls?

 James_01 ->   Peggy, it does provide some important options and we need to talk about those when they come up. We just need to be fair to all sides instead of dismissing them

 bobsprankle ->   http://www.macworld.com/article/139646/onlive.html

 James_01 ->   I think that most people who aren't convinced by web 2.0 tools just want what is best for their classrooms or districts and they aren't convinced yet

 PeggyG ->   @James-that would be an important thing to contribute to the conversation on the wiki that Lucy mentioned for the K12 Horizon Report

 James_01 ->   I don't like to see them painted as being stupid or afraid of change when most of the time they are just trying to do their jobs well

 Wes Fryer ->   @James_01 you might be right

 James_01 ->   I think it is rude and wrongheaded

 James_01 ->   The real problem being that it is wrongheaded because it doesn't address the problem in the first place

 PeggyG ->   schools can no longer afford software based applications and have to look to open source options

 tkaminski ->   @James_01 Maybe web 2.0 can help those poeple do their job even better

 jackiegerstein ->   or tricle up - that's my issue

 gary ->   Not all parts of the world have the same fear: http://www.guardian.co.uk/education/2009/mar/25/primary-schools-twitter-...

 Wes Fryer ->   @James_01 being ignorant about a new technology or potential is very different from "being stupid"

 leeanne ->   In the cloud can still be single-sign on and link several packages... moodle & google apps

 James Sigler ->   It's not just about the web 2.0 tools.  It must be about the pedagogy behind it.

 cheryloakes50~seedlings ->   thanks leeanne for that comment

 Wes Fryer ->   What took you to Singapore, Lucy?

 Wes Fryer ->   Was that an ADE trip?

 James_01 ->   tkaminski, it is possible and I like to figure out whether a new tool is valuable. So we weigh the merits and decide. We don't assume people are afraid and so selfish that they don't want any change

 leeanne ->   Tim Holt talks about how we "sell" technology http://web20andbeyond.wordpress.com/2009/03/24/selling-the-product-tim-h...

 LucyGray ->   Yes, I helped run the institute for the new class of ADEs

 tkaminski ->   @James_01

 tkaminski ->   I agree

 LucyGray ->   It was just me going over there, Wes

 James_01 ->   tkaminski, I agree with you too. :)

 Wes Fryer ->   @LucyGray very cool! It is often so eye opening to get international perspectives on these issues

 cheryloakes50~seedlings ->   welcome Maureen, we are in the middle of the Horizon k-12 report with Lucy Gray.

 leeanne ->   when we live overseas we need to use these tools to connect to our main learning base.

 James_01 ->   Oh, I'm hearing more on fear

 tkaminski ->   However, in my experience, lots of people say they are doing a really good job and do not explore how tech might help them do their job better

 WickedDecentJeff ->   There is a fear of so many things in education...fear of getting sued, fear of the tech not working, fear of not being supported by administration...

 James_01 ->   tkaminski, that is an issue of job performance and professional development. Those teachers aren't as effective as they could be and their PD/admin leaders should develop that with them.

 Maureen ->   Hi Cheryl- sorry so late, got caught up in what I was doing... have to listen to the podcast to catch up later

 James Sigler ->   Why did Singapore buy in and many of our decision makers do not?

 jackiegerstein ->   Another report this week Technology COunts 2009 http://www.edweek.org/ew/toc/2009/03/26/index.html

 James_01 ->   I had no idea how terrified I was of everything

 WickedDecentJeff ->   If you try to push for change, those are the excuses/barriers you come up against

 PeggyG ->   Disrupting Class is a very thought-provoking, powerful book for me.

 cheryloakes50~seedlings ->   hello cha424, welcome, we are near the end of our conversation about the Horizon K-12 project /report

 leeanne ->   Singapore has a great vision for their learning (trying to find link)

 jackiegerstein ->   There are NO workforce environments without tech - it has to be used in the school

 tkaminski ->   I hope we follow the vision of "Disrupting CLass"

 James_01 ->   Jan, we can talk about your "trolls" message after the session if you'd like.

 baldfury ->   who wrote disrupting class?

 leahlubelle ->   hey bob, what is that diabetes app called?

 bobsprankle ->   Clayton Christensen

 PeggyG ->   Michael Horn

 cheryloakes50~seedlings ->   clay christenson, michael horne and

 leeanne ->   Link for Singapore education plan http://www.moe.gov.sg/edumall/mp2/mp2.htm

 cheryloakes50~seedlings ->   thanks leeanne

Not sure that will pass the straight face test in these times.

Seedlings Show #54 with Michael Horn

What an incredible show the SEEDLINGS had with Michael Horn! We talked about how we will change the business of schools. Michael had a great story about milkshakes, that intrigued all of us. It made me think about looking at schools from the student perspective and answering the question, "what is the job of the student?" Stop by and join us.

The show is a great show with a beginning conversation about Disrupting Class, by Clayton M. Christensen, Michael B. Horn and Curtis W. Johnson, published by McGraw Hill. We say beginning conversation since we will continue the conversation at our SEEDLINGS ning, so come on over and join in the post show conversation.

Seedlings-2009-02-26 with Kevin Jarrett

 Alice and Cheryl had a great discussion with Kevin Jarrett from Northfield, NJ. Kevin shared many great ideas about his positions as technology integrator at a K-4 elementary school. He also shared his observations about working in Second Life. The chat contains many great resources too. Thanks for joining in the conversation.

 Join Alice, Cheryl and our guest Kevin Jarrett for this great show. We learn about Kevin, talk about Second Life and Virtual worlds for our elementary students, and share many great resources.

Here is the Delicious: Geek of the Week
