Fall leaves - raking and playing in them - have made us nostalgic.  So this week we focused on positive memories we have from our school days and asked ourselves what memories we are creating for our own students.

Lisa and Maria enjoyed their 50th show.  They discussed the Bucket Fillers program and Educon 2.2.  Diana Laufenberg joined them for the conference discussion.  Sheila was on vacation this week and will be back next week.

This week, Maria Knee, Sheila Adams, and Lisa Parisi were joined by Ginger Lewman and Erin Fitzpatrick to continue last week's discussion on what is and what isn't Professional Development.  The conversation moved into how we get most of our professional development, what school districts provide for us, and what we can expect from teachers.

This week's show focused on the amount of time educators spend on schoolwork outside of the school day. We talked about professional development time, student connection time, and planning time, as well as time spent on "assignments" given us by the district.
