Hi everyone, I'm currently involved in this research project which is aimed at finding ways of improving retention of beginning tecahers who are sent to rural and remote locations in Western Australia. I am involved in providing technical support for the web-based technologies which may be used to support the development of a community for these teachers. I am also carrying out the literature review for the project as the final part of my Masters in Education course.

As I know a number of people here have an interest in online community development, I will post details of the project as it progresses and welcome any feedback that the ETT community might want to provide. I will be sharing my review of the literature via a wiki (password is retain) and will provide ongoing updates here.
