NEIT 2008 discussion with Aaron Grill

We discussed the NEIT 2008 conference with Aaron Grill, preseident of NYCIST, the New York Consortium of Independent School Technologists. 

Topics include the unconference plan, the tools we expect everyone to use during the conference, and the goals we each had for the conference.

We're psyched that David Shipley author of SEND, and Sylvia Martinez from Gen Yes as our keynoters and conference participants.

Elizabeth Helfant shared her amazing story of the MICDS first year tablet program roll out.  This is an great discussion of the right way to implement laptop learning in a school.  They started with teachers and curriculum designers asking for more technology because the curriculum had evolved to need the support.  If you've wondered about 1 to 1, this is must listen audio!
