K12 Online Echo

We were very fortunate to have Kelly Hines as a guest on the Echo. Her K12 Online 2009 presentation, Little Kids - Big Possibilities was streamed. She elaborated on the work she does with her students. It was a lively discussion.

After viewing Chris Walsh's presentation, Moogpal in Action from the 2009 K12 Online Conference, Chris elaborated on the work he is doing and how Moogpal has evolved. It looks like a very exciting possibiity for schools.

The K12 Online Echo was delighted to welcome Jennifer Wagner who shared her K12 Online 2009 presentation, If you Host It, They Will Come. She told stories about the projects she has hosted, shared caveats for those considering hosting and described some of the tools she has used in carrying out the projects.

Rachel Boyd shared her Week Two keynote: A Peek for a Week - Inside a Kiwi Junior Classroom. She fielded questions and elaborated on her presentation. We left with a deeper understanding of how her class runs, how technology is infused in what she does and how her students become such independent learners.
