A special episode dealing with the o'reilly web 2.0 conference debate. We were fortunate to have been joined by Doug Symington, Tom Raftery (THE IT@CORK GUY) and Harold Jarche who all gave their 2 cents on the issue. I must say, holding down the fort without Jeff is not nearly as fun as having him around. This is an important issue I think... and one we'll probably see again. Several representatives of O'reilly.net were contacted and offered a spot on the show. John Battell replied, but said family committments would not allow him to join us. (I'd like to apologize to Tom for getting his name wrong 18 times during the show... hee hee. oops.)

A special interview with Will Richardson. We talked about his book. Blogs, Wikis, Podcasts, and Other Powerful Web Tools for Classrooms We also talked about many of the challenges facing teachers who are trying to use these tools. Conversation wandered over many related topics... Will's always a good interview.

Dave (Coarsesalt Warrygal) & Jeff (Meno Rich) are joined by Jason Robertshaw (Calamari Ricardo) and Doug Symington (Cosmo Commons) for a tour around Second Life, the fascinating virtual environment we can't stop talking about. We visit several education related spaces and discuss the educational possibilities for this kind of virtual environment.
